Stereo Settings

Description

Settings to enable stereo rendering for X-Creators. Supported media types for stereo rendering are Image, Video, NDI and Video Matrix.

Environment Configuration

The 3D Stereo module has to be enabled in the Environment so it can be used by the X-Creators.

Configuration X-Creator

The 3D Stereo module has to be enabled for X-Creators to show the stereo button in the controls of supported media layers or to create stereo output of the application.

Stereo Output
Only has to be set for X-Creators with a stereo capable output device.

• No Stereo: Only the stereo control button for media layers is shown and no stereo output is created for the application.
• Interlaced Stereo: Output image contains left and right eye content alternating every pixel row.
• Full Stereo: Output resolution gets doubled to render left and right eye content side by side. (requires X-Creator Mosaic to position tiles correctly)

Switch Left/Right
Switches left and right eye if Stereo Output is set to Full Stereo.
